What we collect

When you place an order, we collect the details we need to complete it: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, delivery notes, delivery date, and the items you choose. We also keep order and payment-confirmation records.

How we use your information

We use your information to take payment, confirm and deliver your order, send receipts and delivery updates, answer your questions, run our store, and help prevent fraud or misuse.

Placing an order allows us to contact you about that order and its delivery. We do not use your information to send marketing messages, promotions, or other unrelated emails or texts.

We do not sell or advertise with your data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers on our storefront.

Payments and other services

We use trusted third-party services to help run Yuca Brava, including Stripe for payments, Google services, address and map services, email delivery services, and web hosting providers. We share only the information they need to provide their service.

These providers have their own privacy policies and data practices. Their use of information is governed by their own policies, and we do not control their privacy practices.

Stripe handles payment-card information. Yuca Brava does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Browser storage and cookies

We use basic browser storage and essential cookies to remember your cart, support checkout, and keep staff access secure. You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Doing so may remove saved cart items or interrupt an in-progress checkout.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill orders, run our store, keep required records, and meet legal obligations.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can be completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. We will review your request based on applicable law and our recordkeeping and legal obligations. Email privacy@yucabrava.net to make a request or ask a privacy question.

Children and policy changes

Yuca Brava is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at privacy@yucabrava.net.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the last-updated date above.
